SERB PEOPLE CAN BE SATISFIED WITH SERBIA’S ARMED FORCES’ COMBAT READINESS

BELGRADE, JUNE 28 /SRNA/ – The Serb people can be satisfied with the equipment and combat readiness of the Serbia’s Armed Forces, President Milorad Dodik said after attending a presentation of new modernized equipment and systems of the Serbia’s Armed Forces at the Colonel Pilot Milenko Pavlović military airbase in Batajnica.

"Today, this is a serious military force not only in the region, but one of the strongest defensive forces, comparable to those of other countries," Dodik said.

He stressed that it should be borne in mind that more still needs to be done, but that the capabilities of the Armed Forces have been impressively enhanced in recent years, considering that 10 to 15 years ago they were in a very neglected state.

Dodik said he was very pleased with what he had learned and seen during the presentation, and congratulated Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić, the Chief of the General Staff, as well as all soldiers and officers.
