REPRESENTATIVES OF SERBIA VISITED THE GENERAL, HE SAID "SERBIA, MOTHER"

BELGRADE, JULY 29 /SRNA/ - General Ratko Mladić, who has been lying immobile in The Hague detention hospital for two years, was visited by representatives of Serbia, and during that visit, he said "Serbia, mother," his son Darko Mladić told SRNA.

He stated that General Mladić's health condition remains severe and that there are no changes.

"He spoke little. He told them, `Serbia, mother.` What touched them the most was that in such a difficult situation, he still remained unbroken," said the general's son.

Darko Mladić says it is good that the State Secretary in the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue, Livija Pavićević, and the Ambassador of Serbia to the Netherlands, Marina Jovićević, visited him and gave him support to endure.

He noted that on Friday, July 31, General Mladić will also be visited by two of his comrades-in-arms, one escort, and one driver.

The State Secretary in the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue of Serbia, Livija Pavićević, and the Ambassador of Serbia to the Netherlands, Marina Jovićević, visited General Ratko Mladić and Mićo Stanišić, who has five years left of his prison sentence, in The Hague detention on Monday, July 27.
