METROPOLITAN TEODOSIJE WELCOMES PATRIARCH PORFIRIJE AND BURNS TO GRAČANICA

BELGRADE, JULY 6 /SRNA/ – His Eminence Metropolitan Teodosije of Raška and Prizren and the sisterhood of Gračanica Monastery welcomed His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Porfirije and Pastor Mark Burns, spiritual adviser to US President Donald Trump, to the historic Serbian Orthodox monastery.

Earlier today, Patriarch Porfirije and Burns visited the Visoki Dečani Monastery, where they venerated the relics of St. King Stefan Dečanski.

During the visit, Abbot Sava introduced the US guest to the rich history of the monastery, which is included on UNESCO's World Heritage List, Belgrade media reported.

Patriarch Porfirije and Pastor Burns arrived in Kosovo and Metohija yesterday and are staying at the Patriarchate of Peć, the traditional seat of the heads of the Serbian Orthodox Church /SOC/.
