LEKOVIĆ: AUTOPSY WILL BE PERFORMED AT THE MILITARY MEDICAL ACADEMY

BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 3 /SRNA/ – Colonel Ivan Leković, Deputy Head of the Military Medical Academy /MMA-VMA/ in Belgrade, said that General Ratko Mladić’s remains had been brought to the VMA, where an autopsy would be performed.

He said that the body had been admitted by Pathology Ward.

"The remains have been brought to the VMA, where, at the request of the family and on the basis of a letter from the Minister of Justice, an autopsy will be performed," Leković said.

According to him, the VMA has all the necessary professional and personnel capacities to conduct the examinations and analyses.

"All autopsy findings will be delivered to the family and the relevant institutions as soon as possible," Leković told Serbia’s outlets.

Media reports say that General Ratko Mladić’s son, Darko Mladić, is expected to address the public tomorrow.
