KURTI DOING EVERYTHING TO OBSTRUCT TALKS

BELGRADE, MARCH 30 /SRNA/ – The Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija Petar Petković said that the prime minister of the provisional institutions in Priština is doing everything to derail dialogue with Belgrade and shift responsibility onto the Serbian side.

"It is hypocritical for Priština, on the eve of the 13th anniversary of the signing of the First Brussels Agreement on normalization of relations and after 4,728 days without the establishment of the Association of Serb Municipalities, to accuse Belgrade of anything", Petković said in a statement.

He stressed that Kurti is only simulating dialogue and does not genuinely seek compromise or sustainable solutions.

"Belgrade is a responsible party in the talks being held in Brussels with the aim of normalizing relations and improving the lives of people in Kosovo and Metohija", Petković stated.

He reminded that Priština, led by Kurti, has for years been obstructing the process by imposing non-existent conditions and ultimatums, while Belgrade, as a credible party in the dialogue, has fulfilled all its obligations.

"It is now up to Priština to begin implementing the agreements, starting with those signed 13 years ago, the most important of which is the establishment of the Association of Serb Municipalities", Petković concluded.
