BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 7 /SRNA/ - Several hundred citizens remained at Topčider Cemetery in Belgrade after the funeral of General Ratko Mladić to light candles at his grave and pay their final respects.

People are patiently waiting in line to bid farewell once again to the former commander of the Army of Republika Srpska.

Citizens are still arriving to light candles and pay their respects to the general at his final resting place in Topčider, where thousands of Serbs from Republika Srpska, Serbia and the region bid him farewell.

Former commander of the Main Staff of the Army of Republika Srpska General Ratko Mladić was buried today at Topčider Cemetery in Belgrade with an honor guard salvo.

Judging by the number of people in attendance, this was one of the largest funerals held in the recent history of the Serb people.

The funeral service at the family tomb was led by Vicar Bishop Dositej, representing the Serbian Patriarch, with a large number of priests concelebrating.
