PODGORICA, AUGUST 20 /SRNA/ — Montenegro's Ministry of Interior has offered a EUR 500,000 reward for credible information on the whereabouts of Radoje Zvicer, 42, who is wanted under a Red Notice issued by Interpol on suspicion of involvement in a number of serious crimes.
The identity of anyone providing information, including their personal details, will be fully protected.
The Police Directorate said information will be considered credible if it meets all of the following conditions: it contains accurate and verifiable information enabling the person's location and arrest; it directly contributes to police operational activities; and it is of decisive importance for a successful arrest.
"To enable direct, confidential and institutionally protected communication, information must be submitted in person exclusively to the Director of the Police Directorate and/or the Assistant Director responsible for combating crime and/or the Head of the Special Police Department," the statement said.
The reward is not available to anyone who already possessed information held by the Police Directorate, police officers and members of their immediate families, or anyone who in any way participated in the commission of the crimes for which the international warrant was issued.
The Government will decide whether to pay the reward, based on an assessment and evaluation of the credibility of the information provided, following a proposal from the Ministry of Interior and taking the principle of fairness into account.
Zvicer is wanted on suspicion of forming a criminal organization, committing serious murders, drug trafficking and money laundering, as well as possessing weapons and explosives.
