DODIK: SRPSKA AND SERBIA PURSUE RESPONSIBLE POLICIES

BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 12 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska and Serbia pursue responsible policies and maintain their mutual relations at a high level, said SNSD Leader Milorad Dodik in Belgrade.

Dodik stated that his meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić was very useful and that they discussed economic issues, cooperation, and the situation in both Republika Srpska and Serbia.

"We discussed the cooperation between Republika Srpska and Serbia in our efforts to ensure the best possible outcomes for the entire Serb people, above all, understanding of the broader global and regional issues, as well as maintaining our mutual relations at a high level," Dodik told the press at the Serbia Palace, where he was participating in the Euronews Adria Summit.

Dodik expressed gratitude to the President of Serbia for his continued understanding.

"Some people always claim there are certain frictions, but that's their opinion. I believe that the responsible state policies of Serbia and Republika Srpska cannot be jeopardized by any circumstances," Dodik emphasized.

He said that he informed Vučić about the situation in Republika Srpska, while Vučić briefed him on the developments in Serbia, noting that these are turbulent times that must be understood.

"We stand by Serbia, which chooses its democratic government that must be respected, just as we respect the elected president, government, and all institutions in Serbia. We believe that any form of violence does not contribute to the strengthening or stability of Serbia in the future," Dodik concluded.
