BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 1 /SRNA/ - Croatia has shown that it has no limits when it comes to glorifying Ustashism and that this is part of its state policy, as was confirmed by the concert by Marko Perković Thompson in Vukovar, President of the Movement of Krajina Srebs Mile Bosnić told SRNA.

Following the concert, where attendees chanted the Ustasha slogan “For the homeland ready,” which was also displayed in the sky above Vukovar using a drone, Bosnić stressed that they had shown that there are no limits to their promotion and glorification of Ustashism.

He pointed out that it was incredible that someone could mock not only the Serbs but the entire world in such a manner, punishing people for using pyrotechnics while allowing 100,000 people, according to their own figures, to chant “For the homeland ready” in Vukovar without any consequences.

“They are openly threatening that they have not finished the job and that they will come to Serbia. And this is coming from Vukovar, which is just across the border. Where does it end? In their view, probably in Zemun. They do whatever they want; they prosecute a woman over a video showing a boy wearing a traditional Serbian šajkača cap cutting the Yule log, while they chant the Ustasha salute and glorify the Independent State of Croatia,” Bosnić said.

He reminded that Republika Srpska had responded by banning the use of Ustasha symbols and the promotion and glorification of the Independent State of Croatia, adding that Serbia, too, must take a very clear stance.

“We have been warning about this for years, but what I or some analyst says is not a proper response, nor are the statements made by certain ministers or members of parliament. There must be a serious response from the state. We cannot keep asking why the EU is not reacting if our own state does not react,” Bosnić said.

He stressed that everything indicates that Croatia and Croats will not stop, regardless of whether the HDZ, the SDP or someone else is in power.

“That is the state policy of promoting the NDH and Ustashism and rehabilitating them, while at the same time blaming the Serbs for rising in revolt. On the other hand, we have not even adopted a resolution on the genocide against the Serb people in the NDH, so there is no point in talking about anything until that is done,” Bosnić said.

On August 29, Croatian singer Marko Perković Thompson, known for promoting Ustashism at his performances, held a concert in Vukovar, where the Ustasha salute “For the homeland ready” was also chanted and displayed using drones.
