BILJANA PLAVŠIĆ: GENERAL MLADIĆ WAS A GOOD MAN

BELGRADE, AUGUST 28 /SRNA/ - Former President of Republika Srpska Biljana Plavšić told SRNA today that General Ratko Mladić was a good man and that she is deeply shaken by his death in the custody of the Hague Mechanism.

Plavšić pointed out that she was always on General Mladić's side and that she is very disturbed by the fact that he passed away in Hague detention.

"I feel absolutely terrible. He was a good man," said Plavšić.

She noted that the General's son, Darko, visited her last year and that she will call him to express her condolences.

The former commander of the Main Staff of the Army of Republika Srpska, General Ratko Mladić, passed away yesterday in the detention hospital in The Hague at the age of 84.
