45 KILOGRAMS OF DRUGS SEIZED IN DOBANOVCI, THREE ARRESTED

BELGRADE, AUGUST 5 /SRNA/ - Police in Dobanovci near Belgrade seized around 30 kilograms of marijuana and 15 kilograms of cocaine, and arrested three people, the Serbian Ministry of the Interior /MoI/ said.

The MoI said that the individuals identified by the initials M.Z. and I.G. were arrested after they were found in a motor vehicle containing the drugs.

In the operation carried out on the orders of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, a person identified by the initials D.Đ. was also arrested on suspicion of having collected a travel bag containing drugs from M.Z. and I.G. at a petrol station.

The suspects have been ordered held in custody for up to 48 hours, during which time they will be brought before the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade for questioning.
