BELGRADE, APRIL 27 /SRNA/ – Senator of Republika Srpska Aleksandar Vulin assessed that the Ministry of Defence within the Council of Ministers, through its initiative to build a military training ground in the Glamoč area, seeks to drive out the remaining Serbs from that municipality.
"Tito built a tank training ground on Manjača which displaced my family and thousands of other Serb families. The Ministry of Defence wants to do the same to the remaining Serbs in Glamoč," Vulin stated.
Since they failed to completely drive out the Serbs with tanks, Vulin adds, they are now trying to do so with training grounds.
"No matter how many Serbs there are in the FBiH, it is considered too many," Vulin said.
He added that BiH has wastelands and unused land even in areas where Bosniaks or Croats live, and that it is not necessary to build a training ground in places where Serbs live.
"The Armed Forces of BiH are like `cat's love` - more noise than strength, but since it is not good for anything else, it can at least be used to expel Serbs," Vulin cited in a written statement.
Vulin believes there is no reason to appeal to the Council of Ministers or the international community to protect Serbs, and that Serb representatives in the BiH institutions should not allow, as he put it, a repeat of Manjača.
The Ministry of Defence within the Council of Ministers has proposed relocating the military training ground near the village of Pribelja below Mount Vitorog to a plateau between Kupres and Glamoč.
