VITAL NATIONAL INTEREST OF SERBS VIOLATED IN UNA-SANA CANTON

SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 8 /SRNA/ - The Council for the Protection of Vital Interests of the Constitutional Court of the Federation of BiH /FBiH/ ruled today that the vital national interest of the Serbian people was violated during the change of government in Una-Sana Canton.

The Council reached the decision while considering a request submitted by the Serb Caucus in the Una-Sana Canton Assembly.

The case was initiated following the change of government in Una-Sana Canton when, at an extraordinary session held on the night of August 10-11, the cantonal government headed by Mustafa Ružnić, including two Serb ministers as stipulated by the Constitution, was dismissed.

The new government, headed by Ibrahim Dizdarić, was subsequently confirmed, and he intended to appoint one Serb and one Croat as ministers
