SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 11 /SRNA/ – SDA leader Bakir Izetbegović has stated today that the government in the Federation of BiH was imposed by force, claiming that the "Troika" insisted on forming the government at any cost despite lacking the capacity to manage the complex situation.
Izetbegović reminded that his party offered a coalition to everyone in 2018, but that Sabina Ćudić, the leader of Our Party, which had ten times fewer votes, demanded that SDA step aside and hand over the position to them.
"Later, they made the same request to the foreigners and those foreigners carried it out," Izetbegović said.
He noted that the "Troika" promised the fight against corruption, but instead, ties between politicians and drug cartels came to light, along with an international embarrassment surrounding highway construction and the arrests of three ministers in the Sarajevo Canton government.
"They promised fight against corruption, and what we got is the `Sky` app, connections to cartels, and now the `wire-fixing` scandal," Izetbegović said.
He called FBiH Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić imposed, forcibly installed, and unsuccessful, while citizens in the entity, he stressed, are facing impoverishment, mounting debt, depression, and general uncertainty, federal media report.
