SIX-YEAR-OLD BOY DIES AFTER ATV HE WAS RIDING OVERTURNS

GORNJI VAKUF, SEPTEMBER 4 /SRNA/ - A six-year-old boy from Gornji Vakuf died today after the quad he was riding overturned in the Dražev Dolac settlement in the Gornji Vakuf area, the Central Bosnia Canton Ministry of Interior stated.

Muamer Karadža, spokesperson for the Police Administration of the Cantonal Ministry of Interior, told Avaz that the boy was riding the quad alone on private property when the vehicle overturned, causing the boy to sustain injuries.

Police were notified of the accident at 6:15 p.m. and shortly afterward received information from the health centre that the child had succumbed to his injuries.

Officers from the Criminal Police Department of the Bugojno Police Administration are conducting the investigation, and the cantonal prosecutor has been notified.
