BOSANSKI PETROVAC, AUGUST 2 /SRNA/ –President Milorad Dodik said that the 1995 bombing of a Serb refugees convoy on the Petrovac Road was a devious crime.

"A Croatian pilot cold-bloodedly fired rockets at the helpless - the elderly, women and children. That speaks to a pathological hatred of Serbs," Dodik said at the memorial on the Petrovac Road, where he paid tribute to the Serb victims together with Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić.

Dodik recalled that Croatian aircraft bombed the refugee convoy on the territory of Republika Srpska.

"The refugee convoy had already left the territory of Croatia and was on the territory of Republika Srpska when it was bombed. To them, innocent civilians were a legitimate target," Dodik said.

On August 7, 1995, during Operation Storm, Croatian aircraft bombed Serb refugee convoys on the road near the village of Janjila, close to Bosanski Petrovac.

Ten civilians, including four children, were killed in the attack.
