CVIJANOVIĆ: I AM APPALLED BY HORRIFIC THREATS MADE AGAINST CLERGY

ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 1 /SRNA/ – Serb BiH Presidency member, Željka Cvijanović, says she is appalled by the horrific threats made against the clergy of the Cathedral Church of the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God in Tuzla.

Cvijanović emphasized that her office has contacted the head priest of the Cathedral, Father Miloš Trišić, and expressed their support.

"After the desecration in July, this is the second attack on this sacred site of the Serbian Orthodox Church and its clergy in the past two months by the same individual. The relevant authorities must respond adequately, which means imposing the harshest possible penalties, and prevent the perpetrator from carrying out these terrible threats," Cvijanović said.

She posted on Instagram that this is the only way to ensure a safe and dignified life for Serbs in the Federation of BiH, who, unfortunately, are increasingly becoming targets of attacks in this entity.
