BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 4 /SRNA/ - President of the Sigurna Srpska Movement /PSS/ Draško Stanivuković said that he would not be prime minister after all.
Asked about his pre-election promise that he would definitely become prime minister, Stanivuković said that would not happen.
"SNSD will form the Republika Srpska Government, but we will be a strong opposition and will fight for our programs and platforms," Stanivuković said.
He added that his party would not enter into any coalition with SNSD.
"We will defeat them sooner or later and bring positive change for the people of Srpska," Stanivuković said.
He congratulated SNSD's Savo Minić on winning the election for President of Republika Srpska, as well as Željka Cvijanović on her victory in the race for Serb member of the BiH Presidency.
"We respect the democratic will of the people and are grateful for every vote we received because, as a movement, we are now becoming the strongest opposition force in Republika Srpska. This is our best result to date, as we are now the second-strongest political organization in Srpska," Stanivuković told reporters at the PSS election headquarters in Banja Luka.
He said PSS would have at least two deputies in the BiH Parliamentary Assembly and, as he put it, numerous deputies in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska.
