BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 26 /SRNA/ - The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić stated that the behavior of the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH must be brought within the bounds of the law.
Minić reiterated that the CEC's decision to repeat the presidential election in certain polling stations constitutes a gross violation of the voters' will, and that Siniša Karan was elected regularly and legally.
According to him, the actions of the CEC represent "unprecedented incompetence," and such behavior seriously undermines trust in the electoral process.
"This kind of conduct is unacceptable, and we demand that the situation be resolved as soon as possible, lawfully and transparently," Minić said at a press conference following the inaugural session of the government. /end/sg
