SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 7 /SRNA/ - SNSD Presidency member Staša Košarac said the party would insist that election winners and legitimately elected representatives of all three constituent peoples be the ones to hold talks, adding that the election result showed there was no civic BiH.
Košarac asked why there was a need in Sarajevo to delegitimize the electoral will of the Serb people.
"Deal with your own national and fundamental issues, and let us do what is in our national interest. Do not tell us what our national interest is, just as we do not tell you what yours should be," Košarac told reporters in Sarajevo.
He said SNSD would not choose partners for others, but would make its own decisions independently, as SNSD and President Milorad Dodik had done all along.
"The only ones in BiH today with electoral and victorious sovereignty at all levels of government are Milorad Dodik and SNSD," Košarac said.
He said SNSD had no problem regarding the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly and that there would also be no problems in electing delegates to the House of Peoples.
According to Košarac, SNSD President Milorad Dodik would also have a say in when the FBiH Government and the new Council of Ministers would be formed.
Košarac, who is also Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers, said the period had passed in which it had become clear what was not functioning in BiH, where Sarajevo had a pathological tendency to impose solutions on Banja Luka and Mostar, something he said was now impossible.
