JERINIĆ: WILL OF PEOPLE OF DOBOJ CANNOT BE ANNULLED BY CEC DECISION

DOBOJ, DECEMBER 24 /SRNA/ – Mayor of Doboj Boris Jerinić told SRNA that the will of the people of Doboj cannot be annulled by decisions made far from polling stations, stressing that the citizens of Doboj have always known how to recognize strength, stability, and results.

Following the decision of the Central Election Commission of BiH /CEC/ to repeat elections at 136 polling stations, Jerinić said that Doboj, despite all pressures and attempts at political engineering, will emerge even stronger and more determined.

"At the repeated elections, we will win even more convincingly. To the gentlemen from the CEC we say – become members of polling committees and personally witness the will of the citizens of Doboj, instead of making illegal, non-credible decisions from the comfort of your offices," Jerinić emphasized.

He pointed out that members of the CEC, who were unlawfully appointed and receive monthly salaries exceeding BAM 10,000 funded by the citizens of Doboj, Republika Srpska, and BiH, have no right to trample on democracy.

"Let us do our work. Doboj moves forward, stronger than ever!" Jerinić said.

The Central Election Commission of BiH today issued a non-final decision to annul the snap elections for President of Republika Srpska at 136 polling stations in 17 electoral units, against which an appeal may be filed.
