BANJA LUKA, DECEMBER 24 /SRNA/ – SNSD leader Milorad Dodik said today in Banja Luka that the decision of the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH undermines confidence in elections, stressing that Republika Srpska should reclaim control over its electoral process, as stipulated by the Dayton Peace Agreement.
Dodik said that the CEC’s decision increasingly undermines BiH itself, rather than Republika Srpska.
“They want to say that Laktaši is riddled with thieves, and that those who vote for the opposition should belong to the CEC. We could get nothing from CEC members Jovan Kalaba and Vanja Prutina Bjelica, who had been an associate of Mirko Šarović,” Dodik said at a press conference.
He recalled that Prutina Bjelica mobilized the other CEC members in order for today’s decision to be adopted.
