DEĐANSKI: DODIK'S SNSD SCORES A BRILLIANT VICTORY

BELGRADE, OCTOBER 5 /SRNA/ - Milorad Dodik’s SNSD achieved a historic success and a brilliant victory in the elections in BiH, and Republika Srpska will have a stable government with which both Russia and the United States will cooperate, political analyst Stevica Deđanski told SRNA.

"The people have shown their sense of responsibility and that, above all, they trust Dodik, his policies and his team," Deđanski said.

According to him, all the poison that some had been spreading in recent years ultimately failed to produce the result they wanted.

"On one side, we had Dodik and the preservation of Republika Srpska on the table, and on the other we had various troublemakers whose intentions we did not even know. We only knew that they would bring nothing good," Deđanski said, adding that the people recognized this very clearly and convincingly this time.

Deđanski said that, despite this, there would be attacks from the outside, but that Republika Srpska now had a stable, undisputed government that both Russia and Donald Trump and the United States would support and cooperate with.

"So those who want to undermine peace and stability will not have much of a chance, thanks to the well-balanced policy that Republika Srpska has pursued and its success in building this position," Deđanski stressed.

As another important point, Deđanski highlighted the victory of HDZ candidate Darijana Filipović in the race for the Croat member of the BiH Presidency, noting that Željko Komšić had won the previous four terms with Muslim votes, meaning that Muslims had been choosing the Croat representative.

"This is progress. I think the situation is realistically changing for the better," Deđanski said, adding that the Croat side in BiH, regardless of the state of Croatia, has an interest in cooperating with Republika Srpska to protect its rights.

Deđanski said that other politicians in Republika Srpska had now also seen the path they needed to take if they wanted to win the votes of their citizens: pursuing national policies in the same way Dodik does.

He said it had become clear that the opposing candidates were further undermined by the support they received from the protesters from Serbia, who came to Republika Srpska and addressed them at rallies, because the Serb people do not like people who are willing to sell out the national interest for certain political positions.

"And this has now been proven, which is why the policy should not be changed, but international cooperation should be strengthened at every level, above all with Russia and the United States," Deđanski stressed.
