BOJIĆ: CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS TO FOLLOW AGAINST CEC MEMBERS WHO VOTE FOR ELECTION REPEATS

LAKTAŠI, DECEMBER 15 /SRNA/ - Mayor of Laktaši Miroslav Bojić told SRNA that criminal complaints will be filed against members of the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH who vote in favor of repeating the elections in this city.

Commenting on the announcement that the CEC will hold a session to consider whether elections should be repeated in Laktaši, Doboj, and Zvornik, Bojić said that such a move is unacceptable and that it casts a shadow over these cities, where election day passed without any problems.

"We will file lawsuits and submit appeals, because we have every right to ask whether it is possible that election repeats are being sought in these cities, while they are not being demanded in other local communities led by the opposition, such as Teslić, Istočna Ilidža, Lopare, Bijeljina, Banja Luka…," Bojić stressed.

He believes that with these actions the CEC is harassing citizens and members of election commissions and damaging the reputation of the city.
