BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 8 /SRNA/ - SNSD Secretary-General Srđan Amidžić said that the SNSD would discuss the formation of a new Council of Ministers with political forces that respect the Dayton Peace Agreement and want to live in Dayton BiH.
He added that the speed of forming the Council of Ministers would also depend on finding such partners.

Amidžić, who serves as Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers, expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the current Council of Ministers, stressing that it is an auxiliary body of the BiH Presidency.

"We must respect the Dayton Peace Agreement. Those who accept that the Council of Ministers is an auxiliary body, and those who respect the facts about how BiH is defined in the Dayton Peace Agreement, are our partners for talks. Once we have such partners, we can form the Council of Ministers. We are in no rush," Amidžić said in response to reporters’ questions in Banja Luka.

He added that the current composition of the Council of Ministers had demonstrated the reality of BiH, noting that Bosniak politicians want a unitary BiH.

"They believe they were disadvantaged after the war because the Serbs got Serbia, the Croats got Croatia, and the Slovenes got Slovenia, but they did not get their own state. On the other hand, my wish is for Republika Srpska to be independent. What is wrong with that? I have the right to have that wish. But we have said that we are willing to live in Dayton BiH," Amidžić said.
