BANJA LUKA, MARCH 27 /SRNA/ - Minister of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska Željka Stojičić said that theater in Republika Srpska lives and develops with the new strength and that she is proud to be the witness of theater strengthening in small and big areas.
Stojičić pointed out that through their work, theaters not only offer art, but also unity, hope and lasting values that stay in hearts of the audience.
She congratulated theater houses in Republika Srpska on the occasion of the World Theater Day, and wished for them to continue creating art that awakens and leaves mark.
"Theater has always been more than art. It is the voice of an era, the mirror of society and place where we recognize and reconsider ourselves and where we grow.
The stage is a place where issues that affect every individual and the community as a whole are raised, and theatrical lights illuminate phenomena that demand change as well as the greatest values in every being," Stojičić told SRNA.
She noted that the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republika Srpska remains committed to supporting theatrical art, recognizing its importance in shaping contemporary society, and particularly emphasizes the importance of contemporary dramatic text that, in its contemporary language, conveys universal truths and opens new perspectives.
"Let us therefore celebrate together today the power of theatre that moves, connects and inspires," said Stojičić.
