CONCERT ON THE OCCASION OF THE 90TH ANNIVERSARY OF GKUD "VLADIMIR GAĆINOVIĆ"

BILEĆA, MAY 17 /SRNA/ - The City Cultural and Artistic Society /GKUD/ "Vladimir Gaćinović" from Bileća held a concert on Saturday evening to mark the 90th anniversary of the society’s existence, thereby launching the event "Cultural Summer in Bileća."

The president of GKUD "Vladimir Gaćinović," Nebojša Rogan, says that it is one of the oldest cultural and artistic societies in the region and that this is a special day for them, considering they are continuing a tradition that spans 90 years.

He noted that they currently have over 200 members, and following this anniversary, he expects the number to grow to 300, adding that the society performs more than 30 choreographies in its program.

The Mayor of Bileća, Miodrag Parežanin, who also serves as the honorary president of GKUD "Vladimir Gaćinović," said that this society is worthy of attention because it brings together many children as well as older members in its ensembles, who help spread a positive image of Bileća.
