WITHOUT SCHMIDT AND BONN POWERS IN A YEAR

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 18 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska President, Milorad Dodik, says that Republika Srpska is not facing any challenges that could endanger it, it is stabilized, and that Christian Schmidt and the Bonn Powers will be removed within one year time.

"All of this awaits us in the coming year, and you will see that it will be so," Dodik said.

Dodik stated that he did not allow Christian Schmidt to impose a decision on property because that would have stripped Republika Srpska of its authority, and that Schmidt is now in a position where he neither dares nor is able to do so.

He recalled official Sarajevo’s demands, which he referred to as an insatiable dragon, when they pushed for the one person, one vote principle. This was not implemented thanks to the resistance to such pressures from Republika Srpska.

“Why don’t you implement that now? You don’t dare to even mention it. It’s over. But we, this Milorad Dodik, endured all of that on behalf of this people. And I didn’t let it happen. I rejected both benefits and threats. I didn’t allow this people to be subordinated in a fundamental way to that negative political dragon called official Sarajevo, which cannot be fed enough ever,” Dodik told RTRS.

He emphasized that he lives for the day when Republika Srpska will politically separate from that dragon - official Sarajevo.

"I live for that. If it doesn’t happen during my lifetime, I will probably die dissatisfied with my life", Dodik said.

Commenting on the upcoming meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump in Budapest, Dodik says it is a major victory for Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and possibly Hungary’s greatest diplomatic move of this century.

"I’m proud of what Orban managed to do and of our political alliance. We are allies in ideology, and I must admit that I still learn from him in some matters. That's mostly because he has access to the epicenter of the EU, which I obviously do not. In that sense, I learn", said Dodik.

He stressed that Orban has great respect for Trump, as well as for Putin and the reality of Russia.

Regarding the situation in the EU, Dodik pointed out that migrants have completely destroyed the social fabric of Western Europe, which now doesn’t know what to do with them, so they planned to return them to the Balkans, something Republika Srpska strongly opposed.

"That’s why Milorad Dodik is disliked by Great Britain, as he said he won’t take in their migrants", Dodik said.

He emphasized that in Western Europe, a detached elite no longer leads the people, but only itself, adding that the division between a small number of wealthy people and a massively large relatively poor population will lead to major upheavals.

"Of course, it will be hard for us to protect ourselves from that, but we can preserve our dignity, which is what I’m doing. That’s why I won’t allow those migrants to come here", Dodik stressed.

Speaking about the importance of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Dodik said that Orthodoxy is the foundation of Serb life and that during his time in power, over 1,140 churches and monasteries have been rebuilt in Republika Srpska, the Federation of BiH, Austria, Hungary, Croatia, and Montenegro. He added that both Islamic and Catholic communities have also received support.

"Our faith is at the core of our lives. Our upbringing shapes our behaviour and our policies. Our politics, our faith teaches us to rally around the Serb national identity. Western politics seeks to destroy identity, to erase it", Dodik concluded.
