VULIĆ: WE CATEGORICALLY REJECT PROPOSALS ON LAW ON COURT AND HIGH JUDICIAL AND PROSECUTORIAL COUNCIL

SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 19 /SRNA/ – The SNSD caucus in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH categorically rejects the draft laws proposed by the PDP and SDS on the Court of BiH and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH /HJPC/, as they are completely unacceptable and unenforceable, SNSD caucus chair Sanja Vulić told SRNA.

Vulić said that SNSD would not participate in the implementation of orders issued by Christian Schmidt, stressing that the proposed amendments to the Law on the Court of BiH and the Law on the HJPC are neither the result of an internal political agreement nor of European standards, but rather a direct political order aimed at demonstrating force and creating an illusion of political relevance for two artificial “troikas” – the Serb and the Bosniak ones.

"The professional community has clearly stated its position, that is that they do not support these draft laws, but it is obvious that the creators of these proposals are not interested in that", Vulić said.

Those who today falsely present themselves as a European alternative, as she noted, are in reality executors of the policies of globalist centers of power and the most direct underminers of the Dayton Agreement.

"They are not bearers of European values, but political followers of Christian Schmidt, whose sole mission is to weaken the entities and strip the constitutional position of Republika Srpska of meaning", Vulić concluded.

She emphasized that, unlike them, SNSD and HDZ ministers are the only ones who have provided a concrete, measurable, and internationally recognized contribution to BiH’s European path.

Everything else is, as she noted, empty words, political acting, and an attempt to deceive the public.

"We state clearly and without reservation that Republika Srpska will not be collateral damage to anyone’s ambitions, nor a testing ground for demonstrating loyalty to Christian Schmidt. Those seeking favor with European bureaucrats should do so in another way, not through undermining the institutions of Republika Srpska and forcibly rewriting the Dayton Agreement. SNSD will put a stop to that", Vulić said.

An extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH is scheduled for Monday, December 22, with the agenda including the Draft Amendments to the Law on the Court of BiH and the Draft Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council /HJPC/ of BiH.
