SARAJEVO, AUGUST 27 /SRNA/ – Sanja Vulić, head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, told SRNA that, following SNSD and DEMOS, Bosniak parties have also raised objections regarding irregularities related to the appointment of polling boards in Doboj.
She noted that the Party for BiH submitted a request to the Central Election Commission /CEC/ of BiH to annul all SG1 forms for the registration of polling board members which, according to the party, were signed and certified by unauthorized persons and submitted in electoral units within the territory of Republika Srpska.
"This request shows that issues concerning the legality and regularity of the work of polling boards are not a problem of just one political option, but that parties from different political blocs are also pointing them out," Vulić assessed.
She stressed that the CEC is expected to urgently verify these allegations and ensure that the composition of polling boards complies with the law and that the electoral process is fully transparent and regular.
The media previously reported that the Party for BiH's list of polling board members in Doboj consists exclusively of SDS activists, while the party's authorized representative is an official of the Safe Srpska Movement.
