VULIĆ: ARMED FORCES NEED UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT, NOT DAYDREAMS

SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 30 /SRNA/ - The BiH Armed Forces don't need daydreams, but uniforms, equipment, and conditions for dignified work, Head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Sanja Vulić told SRNA.

"Minister /of Defense in the Council of Ministers/ Zukan Helez may daydream, but the institutions of BiH cannot allow new rules to be introduced without procedure and without budget coverage for the sake of partisan staffing," Vulić said, commenting on the controversial draft regulation on the reserve composition of the Armed Forces of BiH.

Vulić assessed that it is unnecessary to comment on Helez's new proposals until existing weaknesses are removed.

Glas Srpske reported, citing the draft regulation it reviewed, that in addition to generals, officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers whose professional military service in the Armed Forces of BiH has ended with an "honorable discharge," Helez also plans to include individuals with no military experience in the reserve forces.

Implementing Helez's plan will require additional financial resources, which he intends to provide from the budget of BiH's joint institutions.
