TRIAL VOTING FIASCO IN DOBOJ: SCANNERS ARRIVED, BALLOTS DID NOT

DOBOJ, SEPTEMBER 11 /SRNA/ – Doboj residents who arrived this morning to familiarize themselves with the voting process using the new technology were unable to do so because ballots had not been provided.

The trial voting in Doboj, which had been announced in advance, turned into a fiasco right at the start because, according to SRNA's information, only scanners were delivered at around 8:00 p.m. last night, while the ballots were not.

"Residents arrived this morning to familiarize themselves with the procedure and see what voting is supposed to look like, but without the basic voting material they could not go through the complete procedure," SRNA source said.

The situation in Doboj raises serious questions about the organisation of the entire process, particularly given that the trial voting was presented as an important test of readiness for the implementation of new technology in the electoral process.

According to the information available, a truck carrying the ballots has been dispatched to Doboj, and the trial polling stations will be opened later.
