STARLINK AUTHORIZED TO LAUNCH SERVICES IN BiH

SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 28 /SRNA/ - Starlink, the satellite internet service, has received approval from the Communications Regulatory Agency /CRA/ to operate on the BiH market.

CRA Director General Draško Milinović and Starlink Director for Global Licensing and Market Activation Rebecca Slick Hunter discussed plans for the launch of Starlink services in BiH, after which Milinović presented her with a license to operate as an internet access provider.

The launch of Starlink services in BiH will provide another option for broadband internet access, particularly in areas where traditional infrastructure is limited, and should generally contribute to greater competition in the market.

The CRA said the meeting also included an exchange of information on regulatory requirements and the next steps needed to begin providing satellite internet services.
