SARAJEVO, December 16 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac stressed that solutions can be reached only through dialogue with the institutions of Republika Srpska, citing the recent adoption of the law on the electricity regulator as an example.

Košarac said that European laws and the decision on establishing the office of the chief negotiator were not discussed at today's session of the Council of Ministers, stressing that ministers from Republika Srpska do not allow themselves to be outvoted.

"We did not block anything. We do not allow discussions without a previously determined and clearly defined position of the institutions of Republika Srpska. Every time we communicated with the institutions of Republika Srpska, we moved forward - perhaps in small steps, but we moved forward," Košarac said.

He assessed that the Bosniak 'Troika' has been lost ever since "their president /former US ambassador to BiH Michael/ Murphy" left for the United States, and that they are now also afraid of the departure of /German diplomat/ Christian Schmidt.

"They will not agree with me, but it would be best for them to join us as initiators of amendments to the Criminal Code and to remove from the legal system everything that Schmidt, together with his decisions, has turned BiH into a 'den'. They should then go and finally kiss Milorad Dodik's hand and say they are sorry," Košarac said, adding that this is the only correct solution.

He stated that everything they are trying to do is useless and that this situation will continue until September, when elections will be held in October and a different political structure will emerge in the Federation of BiH, pushing the 'Troika' out of the game.

"And then they will beg again. You all know very well that /Edin/ Forto would never have become a minister in the Council of Ministers had he not begged Milorad Dodik. Today he attacks the partnership between SNSD and HDZ. What does that have to do with Forto? He was a partner too. He accepted the narrative of Murphy and Schmidt and brought himself into such a position," Košarac said.

He believes that things are completely clear and that only dialogue with the institutions of Republika Srpska in Banja Luka enables agreements on solutions.

"My appeal to the Minister of Justice /Davor/ Bunoza and everyone else is to agree on solutions with the institutions of Republika Srpska," Košarac said, recalling that the law on the electricity regulator was recently adopted by the Council of Ministers.

Košarac stressed that this is a very important law and the only way for BiH to be exempted from the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism /CBAM/, pointing out that everything was achieved through agreement between the two entities and the two governments.

"It took a long time, but we reached a solution," said Košarac, who also serves as Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relation
