BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 18 /SRNA/ – The main problem in BiH is that over the past 30 years everything has unfolded under foreign pressure, which people like Mirko Šarović were unable to resist, Bojan Šolaja of the International and Security Studies Centre told SRNA.
Šolaja stated that BiH must stop being a slave to international presence and return to dialogue and compromise, calling Šarović's statement about the necessity of keeping the OHR absurd.
"Šarović's statement is even more senseless given that it comes from someone who has been in politics for a long time and who has held the most significant positions – the president of Republika Srpska, member of the BiH Presidency, and a minister in the Council of Ministers," Šolaja told SRNA.
He says the situation is now such that Republika Srpska has managed to develop a certain resistance to international pressure and has shown that dialogue with key international actors is possible, and that this path can lead to resolving issues in BiH.
"Republika Srpska has positioned itself quite well with significant partners both in the East and in the West," Šolaja emphasized.
He added that everything Republika Srpska achieves as progress, especially when accomplished internationally, is beneficial for BiH in general.
