EAST SARAJEVO, JULY 3 /SRNA/ - Council of Ministers Deputy Chair Staša Košarac emphasizes it is evident Sarajevo is now boycotting the new U.S. administration, as Bosniak politicians do not like the new American messages and policies.
"At the reception marking July 4, U.S. Independence Day, the absence of Sarajevo officials was noticeable. This is a huge difference compared to previous years, when Bosniak politicians would obsequiously stand in line, waiting submissively to shake hands with the notorious former U.S. Ambassador to BiH Michael Murphy, their mentor and handler. This time, they sent Edin Forto as a scout to aimlessly wander around and gather gossip for Sarajevo people rumor mills, as per their usual practice," Košarac wrote on Instagram.
He stresses Sarajevo is mourning the loss of its mentor, Murphy.
"They are grieving because they are lost in policies that insist on sovereignty and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries," Košarac stated.
