EAST SARAJEVO, JUNE 30 /SRNA/ – Deputy Chair of the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac emphasized that Republika Srpska is today sovereign, stable, and strong, ready to face all challenges and to successfully withstand the pressures of all ill-wishers who contest it and see it as a thorn in their side.
"We do not want new wars or any unrest. The key battles for Srpska are and will be fought with the pen in the future, respecting the democratic will of the Serb people and all citizens in upcoming elections and referenda. Today, the pen and the vote have the strength that weapons had at the time when we defended and preserved Srpska," Košarac wrote on Instagram.
Košarac pointed out that Republika Srpska is an expression of the centuries-old aspiration of the Serb people to live in freedom, justice, and peace, and that it is a key expression of the Serb national and state-building identity.
"We created it in peace, as an expression of the will of the Serb people, defended it in war, so that today it stands as a bulwark of our freedom and our way of life. Without Srpska we have no freedom, and without freedom there is no Serbian people," stated Košarac.
According to him, Srpska is an expression of the democratic will of the Serb people, who support the policies of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik and its institutions.
He reminded that Srpska has demonstrated over the years its ability to survive difficult times and to show its potential in peace.
"Srpska continues to move forward into the future and will become stronger in all segments of society. We do not wish to endanger the rights of any people. Our political struggle is aimed at preserving our rights, constitutional capacity, and the sovereignty of Srpska," Košarac concluded.
