SARAJEVO, JULY 30 /SRNA/ - Polish national Bartłomiej Krakowiak, suspected of desecrating and setting fire to religious buildings in Međugorje, has been ordered one month of detention, the Court of BiH said.
The detention was ordered due to suspicion that he committed the criminal offences of damaging or destroying religious buildings, inciting ethnic, racial and religious hatred, discord or intolerance, and causing general danger, as well as because of the risk of flight and the possibility that he could repeat the offence if released.
The Polish national was arrested on Tuesday, July 28, in the village of Cerno near Ljubuški after he damaged and set fire to several religious buildings in the Međugorje area the previous night.
