BANJA LUKA, MAY 29 /SRNA/ – SNSD representative in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Nebojša Radmanović, stated that there can be no quality government without the participation of SNSD. He emphasized that meetings organized by the Office of the High Representative (OHR) without SNSD will not bring prosperity to BiH, and that those from Republika Srpska who participate in such meetings only harm the entity.
"A meeting organized by the OHR will only deepen the crisis. We stand by what President Milorad Dodik proposed – that we talk with everyone and move forward with sound ideas, in line with the Dayton Peace Accords," Radmanović said at a press conference in Banja Luka.
He stated that no one in BiH can effectively navigate politics without SNSD.
"There is no quality governance without SNSD participation, but some are determined to bypass SNSD at all costs, and that’s why we have problems like this," Radmanović pointed out.
He said that yesterday's poorly planned session of the House of Representatives brought no benefit to anyone.
"Three systemic laws were proposed, which have been debated for a long time, and the group that submitted them thought everything could be resolved in an emergency session," Radmanović stated.
He noted it was particularly interesting that yesterday a draft law on the Court of BiH was presented, while today the Council of Ministers is proposing a different version of the law.
"This shows a lack of organization and the ambitions of certain groups. You cannot conduct a session like that, nor can such laws be adopted in an emergency procedure," Radmanović emphasized.
He noted that another important issue discussed yesterday was the Law on the Prevention of Money Laundering, for which one group conducted a strong media campaign, condemning those who opposed it.
"We said it cannot be debated in an emergency procedure, and we were accused of obstructing the process, which is simply not true," Radmanović concluded.
