PELAGIĆEVO, OCTOBER 8 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska is slowly implementing everything that political Sarajevo has blocked for years, Prime Minister Savo Minić said, commenting on the adoption of amendments to the Rulebook of the Indirect Taxation Authority /ITA/ of BiH, which resolved the filling of positions at 10 border crossings, including Gradiška.

Minić pointed to the damage caused by former member of the ITA Governing Board Zijad Krnjić, whose mandate expired in September, by repeatedly preventing the adoption of these amendments.

"The new Gradiška border crossing and the bridge over the Sava were financed by Republika Srpska. Isn't it normal for all citizens of BiH to use a properly equipped border crossing?" Minić said, adding that Krnjić had shown himself to be part of a destructive system.

Regarding everything that came from political Sarajevo, Minić said there was only one comment, namely that they were looking for every opportunity to demonstrate their deep-seated hatred towards Republika Srpska.

"It is up to us to work and not pay attention to that. You can see how the ITA has now completed everything, without the conditional agenda items that were the reason for opening the Gradiška border crossing," Minić told reporters in Pelagićevo.

Minić said that Republika Srpska had increasingly strong capacities.

"Srpska is, in part, also carrying the state community of BiH forward in positive matters. I hope this will be recognized in the sense that they let us develop," Minić added.

The ITA Governing Board unanimously adopted amendments and supplements to the Rulebook on Internal Organization of the ITA yesterday, resolving the filling of positions at 10 border crossings.

The rulebook had not been adopted several times because Zijad Krnjić voted against it. He had been a member of the ITA Governing Board as an expert appointed by the Government of the Federation of BiH. Krnjić's mandate on the Governing Board expired in early September.
