SRBAC, JULY 1 /SRNA/ - The Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Savo Minić believes that the appointment of Louis Crishock as acting High Representative is a technical solution because a consensus on the appointment of a High Representative was not reached.
Minić emphasized that BiH does not need High Representatives, or any kind of tutors.
"The people in Republika Srpska and the FBiH are absolutely aware that we must talk; the only possible way is to converse without tutors and without someone who can in any way influence any developments," Minić told reporters in Srbac.
He recalled that everything Christian Schmidt did, such as amending the Criminal Code of BiH and suspending the Constitution of the FBiH, does not exist anywhere else in the region.
EU countries and the US failed to agree on the name of the new High Representative even at yesterday's session of the Steering Board of the Peace Implementation Council /PIC/, and Louis Crishock was formally appointed as Acting High Representative until the final appointment of a new one.
