MILIĆ AND KADRIĆ DISCUSS ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL COOPERATION WITH ITALY WITH CASTELLANI

BRČKO, SEPTEMBER 22 /SRNA/ - Brčko District Mayor Siniša Milić and Government Chief Coordinator Esed Kadrić met in Brčko today with Italian Ambassador to BiH Sarah Eti Castellani to discuss ways to strengthen economic ties and enhance cultural cooperation.

The local officials presented the district’s economic potential, plans to develop a transport and energy hub, efforts to regulate the Sava Riverbed to facilitate the flow of goods, and a project to open an American stock exchange in the district as a new opportunity for investors.

Milić and Kadrić stressed that the focus should be on economic development and cultural exchange, taking the opportunity to invite Italian companies to take part in the upcoming Brčko Business Fair.

Castellani announced that a joint project called the Healthy Food House is set to open in mid-October in Brčko, highlighting the district as an example of a successful local community.

She confirmed her readiness to continue working actively to develop economic and cultural cooperation, as well as Italy’s strong support for BiH’s European path.
