MICHAEL MURPHY – INSTIGATOR OF CRISIS IN BiH

BANJA LUKA, MAY 19 /SRNA/ – BiH is becoming a country of major inconsistencies where, whenever figures like former U.S. Ambassador Michael Murphy appear, long-term instability follows—exactly as they intend, said Željko Budimir, Minister for Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education of Republika Srpska.

Commenting on Murphy's statements that "BiH is facing its biggest political crisis since the war and that the authorities in Srpska are trying to dismantle the Dayton Peace Accords and break up BiH," Budimir stated that it was precisely the former U.S. ambassador who caused the crisis in BiH and served as the inspiration for most of its problems.

"He backed many of the actions taken by the Bosniak side. He pushed the judiciary to initiate proceedings against the president of Republika Srpska, and he practically forced certain leaders in the Federation of BiH to adopt a hostile stance toward Srpska. And now he claims that Srpska and its leadership are to blame and are violating the Dayton Agreement," Budimir emphasized.
