LJUBOJEVIĆ: SRPSKA FOR PARTNERSHIP, NOT DICTATE AND HUMILIATION

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 1 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska is not against European integration, but it is against European humiliation, said Anja Ljubojević, National Assembly Deputy Speaker.

"We are in favour of partnership, but we do not accept dictate and self-degradation. The biggest culprit for the stagnation of European integration is Luigi Soreca, who sat himself down in Sarajevo and doesn’t know how to leave. He does not act like an EU ambassador to BiH, but rather like Bosniaks’ lawyer," Ljubojević emphasized.

She pointed out that Soreca has never come to Banja Luka to speak with representatives of Republika Srpska institutions and has never wanted to hear the views and opinions of Srpska officials.

"It was easier for him to pander to the Sarajevo’s political elite and accuse us of imaginary blockades. All the laws from the European agenda that have been adopted came from ministries headed by Serb and Croat ministers. Not a single one was proposed by Soreca’s favorites - the Bosniaks," Ljubojević stressed.

She noted that the Growth Plan was blocked by the SDA for a whole year, but that meant nothing to Soreca.

"He quickly adapted to the stereotype of the valley - ‘Republika Srpska is to blame.’ His stance on the rule of law in BiH is even more tragic, where the law is a foreigner, and the rule is a single person."

"Mr. Soreca, if you came to be the ambassador to all of BiH, then act accordingly, keeping in mind that you come from a political system based on compromise, respect, and agreement. If you came to take one side, then your job of dismantling BiH and its European integration is going perfectly!" Ljubojević concluded.
