LINTA: SCHMIDT HAS KEY RESPONSIBILITY FOR CRISIS IN BiH

BELGRADE, MARCH 19 /SRNA/ - The president of the Association of Serbs from the region, Miodrag Linta, believes that Christian Schmidt and certain western power centers have the key responsibility for the outbreak of the biggest crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina since the end of the war.

Linta pointed out that it is obvious that Schmidt and the centers that support him strive to finally end the process of taking away the jurisdiction of Republika Srpska and that they are moving towards the definitive creation of a unitary BiH.

"Of course, there is also the truncated Constitutional Court of BiH, which is one of the main instruments in the attempt to unitize BiH," Linta told SRNA.

He believes that in everything that is happening, another big political issue is important, and that is the issue of property, that is, the efforts of political Sarajevo to steal the property of Republika Srpska - mineral resources, forests, land and everything else.

"By seizing the property of Republika Srpska, it is aimed at effectively reducing it to an empty shell," said Linta.

He pointed out that, on the other hand, the leadership of Republika Srpska is fighting against the intentions of Schmidt and his allies in a legal and political way by trying to fight for compliance with the Dayton Agreement, that is, Annex Four and the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"The leadership of Republika Srpska does not lead a policy that is directed neither against BiH nor against the Bosniak people. It is a legitimate, democratic and legal fight for constitutionality and respect for the law," Linta said.
