KOVAČEVIĆ: WE ARE DISSATISFIED WITH MISERABLE PERFORMANCE BY SCHMIDT, THE SAD CLOWN

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 5 /SRNA/ - If, for Christian Schmidt, the largest party in BiH, the SNSD, is a 'political kindergarten,' then this party is deeply dissatisfied with the miserable performance by the sad clown who wasn’t even invited, said SNSD spokesman Radovan Kovačević.

He emphasized that the SNSD is not only the largest political party in Republika Srpska, but also the one with by far the greatest public trust in BiH.

"It is the largest political party in BiH, the one responsible for everything good and the one that has done the most on the country’s European path,” Kovačević stated.

Commenting on Schmidt’s latest accusations against the SNSD, Kovačević reminded that this largest party in Republika Srpska and beyond enjoys the highest level of trust among Serbs in BiH, and that it represents the will of that people in political processes.

“We are the party that has done the most on BiH's European path, and so on, while he, if he were legally and legitimately elected, should be responsible for communication and coordination between the entities and the joint institutions of BiH. That should be his role, in agreement with the democratically elected representatives of the peoples, with the goal of moving forward. And then he calls our party a 'political kindergarten.' I would say we are deeply dissatisfied with this miserable performance by the sad clown we never even invited. I don't know how to respond to such shameful statements,” Kovačević told RTRS.

He added that even the Peace Implementation Council /PIC/, which frequently issues vile and unjust accusations against Republika Srpska, cannot carry political weight because it is neither recognized by nor provided for in the Dayton Constitution of BiH.

"Republika Srpska was established before the war, proclaimed in a democratic institution, the National Assembly, by representatives of the people and citizens. In a war it did not want, it defended itself, negotiated to end it so that we live in peace in accordance with international principles. This led to the conclusion of the Dayton Agreement, which we signed. Therefore, Republika Srpska is older than the Constitution because it signed it. How can you sign something that supposedly creates your existence?" he said.
