SARAJEVO, JULY 21 /SRNA/ - Serb delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Radovan Kovačević, stated today that Republika Srpska is absolutely dissatisfied with the public broadcasting service of BiH.
"I want to remind you that the founding documents of BHRT state that 50 percent of the programming will be broadcast from Sarajevo, and 50 percent from Banja Luka. Is this being applied? I don't see it being applied. I see Republika Srpska being insulted. I see Republika Srpska being belittled. I see the victims of Republika Srpska being belittled," Kovačević said.
He added that non-existent holidays, which the citizens of Republika Srpska do not recognize as their own, are congratulated on BHRT, while the holidays that Srpska has chosen to celebrate are insulted and belittled.
"If this is the way someone thinks BiH should move forward, then they are gravely mistaken and this is a dead end that definitely leads nowhere," Kovačević concluded.
According to him, representatives of the Croat people are also dissatisfied with the current solution.
