KOVAČEVIĆ: SERB PEOPLE DECIDE THEIR OWN FATE

BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 7 /SRNA/ – Serb delegate to the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Radovan Kovačević stated today in Banja Luka that the Serb people have fought for their freedom for centuries and that they alone decide their fate, that is, who represents them and how they will live.

"What can be said about the latest statement by Šefik Džaferović /SDA/? It is clearly a matter of mentality, since such people live by the philosophy of ‘tie your horse where your aga tells you.’ Then, people like Džaferović go a step further, running after the aga and asking him to punish those who refused to tie their horse where they were told. The Serb people have never tied their horse where the master commands, and we are proud of that", Kovačević told reporters.

He pointed out that if the BiH Constitutional Court can make decisions on the most important issues regarding the survival and future of BiH during telephone sessions, then there is no reason why the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH and other institutions could not operate in the same way.

"If someone from their living room in Switzerland, Albania, Germany, Tuzla, or Bužim can make decisions and overturn the will of the constituent Serb people in BiH, then why shouldn’t the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament be able to decide on far less important issues in the same manner", Kovačević emphasized.
