SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 23 /SRNA/ – The Delegate of the Serb Club in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Radovan Kovačević has said today in Sarajevo that BiH is not a country of Bosniaks, but a country of three equal constituent peoples and two equal entities, and that the institutions of BiH are not Bosniak institutions, but institutions of Serbs, Croats, and all other citizens of BiH, as well.
Speaking at an emergency session, the agenda of which includes the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on the Court of BiH and the Draft Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council, Kovačević pointed out that the chair of the House, Kemal Ademović, had scheduled a meeting at 11:00 a.m. with a delegation of the parent association of Bosniak councils from across the region.
"And you, Ademović, will be speaking on the topic `Relations between state institutions and Bosniak councils regarding the exercise of Bosniak rights,`" Kovačević stated.
He stressed that he has nothing against Ademović maintaining relations with Bosniak councils throughout the region, but emphasized that the institutions of BiH must be respected.
"When you harmonize that with your colleagues, then you can speak about relations of institutions," Kovačević said, adding that the list of countries participating in the meeting also included "Kosovo."
He explained that, as far as BiH is concerned, Kosovo does not exist as a country.
"For BiH, Kosovo is an integral part of the Republic of Serbia. I ask you to respect that," Kovačević said.
