ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, JUNE 16 /SRNA/ – Thanks to the dedicated efforts of President Milorad Dodik and the Serb member of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović, major international decision-making centers and administrations have been made aware of facts that have for years raised concerns regarding security and political developments in BiH, Staša Košarac, Deputy Chairperson of the Council of Ministers, has stated.

“The international public has thEREFORE been informed, among other things, that a school near Sarajevo displayed a picture of Qasem Soleimani, the commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps who was eliminated on the orders of US President Donald Trump.

"It has also been presented with well-known information that the perpetrators of the terrorist attack in New York possessed BiH passports, as well as the fact that the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Sarajevo had 447 personnel during the war, who, according to available information, were members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps conducting military and intelligence operations in the part of BiH controlled by Sarajevo", Košarac posted on Instagram.

He stressed that it is evident that part of BiH was and remains under strong Iranian influence and served as a testing ground for developments that later emerged globally and became the subject of serious counterterrorism scrutiny.

The recent 37th Sarajevo International Book Fair, Košarac added, featured the promotion of the book The Islamic Revolution in Iran: A View from BiH, which, he said, celebrates the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the "assistance" Iran provided to the former Republic of BiH during the war.

"Republika Srpska has been and remains a strong ally in the fight against Islamic radicalism and international terrorism. That is what troubles Sarajevo, which has never renounced or severed those ties, but has merely moved them into more discreet frameworks", Košarac said.
